- I'll listen to anything but Pop and Chinese Opera. I made the switch to NPR six years ago, and I haven't missed radio stations one bit. The problem that I have with Pop music is that songs just get played to death. When I first hear a song, I would just love it, but then through it's progression on the radio, I get sick of it! to the point where I hate it, and would never want to hear it again. That is one of the things that I absolutly love about NPR. They play music that normally flies under the pop music radar, and they only play it a few times a week instead of several times a day.

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Vanessa Mae, Metallica, The Grateful Dead, Diana Krall, Stan Getz, Dave Brubeck, Sublime, Linkin Park, Old Eminem.
